**Current Research Question**

## Which word, phrase, service, or process in moving or relocation causes the most confusion because different people use it to mean different things?

The Relocation Dictionary contains a growing collection of public terms. The next step is not simply adding more words. It is finding the places where inconsistent language is creating inconsistent outcomes.

A term may sound clear until a customer, salesperson, operations team, crew, carrier, RMC, or technology platform interprets it differently.

### In your response, tell us:

- **The term or phrase.**
- **Your role or perspective** in the relocation ecosystem.
- **What the term means to you.**
- **Where you see it interpreted differently.**
- **What happens when those definitions do not match.**
- **What a clearer common definition should accomplish.**

A short answer is useful. A real example is even more useful.

### Why TRE is asking

Responses can help identify terms that should be added to or strengthened in the [Relocation Dictionary](https://relocationecosystem.com/dictionary/), and recurring patterns may be synthesized into future TRE research on where language creates friction across the move.
